Nachdem wir zahlreiche Anregungen erhalten haben, dass die Bildergalerie auf stoermede.de sehr langsam geworden ist, haben wir uns entschlossen, einen eigenen Server aufzusetzen, auf dem die Bilder verwaltet werden. Von der Geschwindigkeit könnt Ihr Euch inzwischen selbst überzeugen. Neben den hohen Kosten (ca. 500 EUR pro Jahr) bedeutet dies auch, dass wir deutlich mehr Arbeit mit der Pflege des Servers haben, der sozusagen ein eigenständiger Rechner ist. Großer Vorteil ist aber, dass wir dann ab sofort sehr viel mehr Platz haben (50GB).
Neben den bereits hochgeladenen 14.000 Bildern können wir auch die nächsten Jahre Speicherplatz garantieren. Geplant ist auch ein Live-Video vom Vogelschiessen am Schützenfest-Montag.
