Engagement beim Musikzug, beim Volksmusikerbund und in den letzten Jahren auch als
Vorsitzender des Kulturrings Störmede. Hier war er vor allem mitverantwortlich für die Dorferneuerungsmassnahmen und den Dorfaktionstag.
