Nach einer schnellen 3:0 Führung, sah alles nach einem klaren Sieg aus.
Dirk Brexel, mit einem schönen Heber, Uwe Seifert und Frank Hanxleden, per Direktabnahme nach einem schönen Zuspiel von Pitti Neuhaus sorgten für die frühe Führung. Dann kam Lippstadt jedoch auf 3:2 heran. Zuvor parierte Reinhard Deiters einen Foulelfmeter. Gegen den zweiten Elfmeter war er jedoch machtlos. Ebenfalls per Elfmeter brachte Reinhard Otte unsere Alte Herren mit 4:2 in Führung. Nun wechselten sich beide Mannschaften mit den Toren ab und am Ende stand es 6:4. Die beiden weiteren Treffer erzielten erneut Uwe Seifert und Dirk Brexel.
