Die Gärtner des Integrationsgartens in Störmede haben es in den Landesfarben der Ukraine gestrichen und im Garten wieder aufgestellt. Sie wollen damit ein Zeichen der Solidarität zur Ukraine setzen. Afghanen und Syrer aus Aleppo haben bittere Erfahrungen mit russischen Bomben gemacht. Möge bald der Frieden kommen und der Wiederaufbau beginnen.

Außerdem nimmt der Kulturring  mit  einen kleinen Filmbeitrag vom Integrationsgarten  an der Westfälischen Kulturkonferenz teil. Die Konferenz findet vom 03. bis 06.05.2021 analog und digital statt.

Leider  muss sich der Integrationsgarten in diesem Jahr verkleinern. Die Volksbank wird den Parkplatz hinter der Bank für die Mitarbeiter erweitern. Dazu haben sie von der Kirche den entsprechenden Streifen Land erworben. Somit entfällt die Blühwiese.
